🎾 Military Adaptive Court Sports (MACS) has launched a transformative initiative: hosting adaptive Padel clinics for disabled veterans and wounded warriors. These events, including a recent two-day clinic in Miami, offer a unique blend of physical rehabilitation and joy through the fast-growing sport of Padel.
🇺🇸 Supported by grants from the Department of Veterans Affairs, MACS is pioneering the use of racquet sports as a therapeutic tool. Veterans from various VA Medical Centers have embraced Padel, finding space, time, and ease in playing that other sports don't offer.
🤝 The success of these clinics, extending from Miami to Washington DC and beyond, highlights the positive impact of Padel on veterans' lives. It's not just about the sport; it's about building a supportive community that fosters recovery, camaraderie, and personal growth.
